The Design Division of KASTEC works as the hub for the academic-industrial alliance in the field of design and technology, and intends to contribute to the further growth of the community and the alliance, while enriching the research in the university through joint research with civilian agencies, funded research, training of engineers, tech support, provision of academic information and academic exchange.

The main activities of this division are as follows: joint research with civilian agencies and local public bodies, the promotion fund study, TL (technology licensing), the provision of academic information, the exchange of information, academic investigation, the provision of advanced technology training, offering of research and training opportunities and “campus incubator” activity (CI laboratory).
